As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate for an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the facility and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, maintaining awareness of surroundings and reporting any unusual circumstances.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
• Maintain a professional presence while carrying out armed patrol duties in an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification if required by Texas state law.
• Must have an active Texas Armed Level 3 Security License. 
• Must have an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Must have a valid Drivers License for more than 1 year. 
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
