ProSource, a leader in the right of way, acquisition, and relocation industry, is searching for a Title Specialist with Florida title experience for an ongoing project. Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, ProSource is poised for expansion and growth and are looking for the perfect Title Specialist to add to our team.

Job Summary:

The Title Specialist is responsible for conducting title searches and examining real estate records to determine the legal status of property titles. Title specialists will work closely with attorneys, real estate agents, and other professionals to ensure the accuracy and completeness of property records and help to resolve any issues that may arise during the title search process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct title searches and examine property records to determine the legal status of property titles.
  • Analyze and interpret legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgements, and easements.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the title search process, such as outstanding liens, encumbrances, or other legal claims.
  • Verify legal descriptions of property and ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain accurate records of all title search activities to ensure that all documentation is properly filed and organized.
  • Stay updated on changes to real estate laws and regulations that may impact the title search process.
  • Any other task as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in title examination or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The Title Specialist will spend a significant amount of time working in an office environment, using a computer and other standard office equipment. The position may require travel to county courthouses and other locations to conduct title searches. This position may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time and may involve some light lifting or carrying of documents or equipment.
