Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Management:
  • Accurately set up and maintain new customer accounts in the system.
  • Enter, update, and maintain catalog information, ensuring data is consistent and current.
  • Regularly audit catalog data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Catalog Maintenance:
  • Create, update, and manage product lists within the catalog, including new item additions, price updates, and descriptions.
  • Ensure catalog items meet company standards for formatting, descriptions, and data quality.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to verify and update product information.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Generate reports and summaries as needed to support catalog and customer data requests.
  • Document data entry processes, catalog updates, and customer setup guidelines.
  • Cross-Departmental Support:
  • Work closely with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure that catalog data aligns with company needs and supports customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with ad hoc data requests and projects related to catalog management.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in a data entry or catalog management role is preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management, retail, or e-commerce environments is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, sorting/filtering, data validation).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members across departments.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or catalog management systems is a plus.
