Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Security Sales Manager to lead their security solutions sales efforts. In this role, you will drive business growth by developing new client relationships and managing existing accounts within the home security industry. Your energetic approach to outside sales, combined with strategic management and business development skills, will help expand their market presence. You will leverage your expertise in technology sales, territory management, and customer service to deliver tailored security solutions that meet client needs.
The Sales Manager is responsible for building and managing a sales team, hitting sales targets, and driving company revenue through door-to-door outreach. This is a commission-only leadership role designed for someone who thrives in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment.
Duties
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team focused on security solutions, ensuring achievement of sales targets through effective management and motivation.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new D2D sales reps
- Lead by example – actively sell alarm system packages door-to-door
- Coach, motivate, and hold team accountable to daily/weekly KPIs
- Run daily huddles, role-play sessions, and performance reviews
- Track contracts, installs, and performance numbers
- Provide in-field training and assist reps with live closes when needed
- Maintain a team culture of professionalism, discipline, and integrity
- Collaborate with ownership on territory strategy and promo campaigns
- Ensure reps are compliant with ADT standards, sales ethics, and TPC policies
Qualifications
- Proven D2D or alarm sales experience (required)
- Previous team lead or manager role preferred
- Strong closer with confidence in one-call closes
- Able to recruit and develop reps quickly
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits
- 100% Commission (No base salary)
