Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide product demonstrations when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking merchandise as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Provide support in stocking shelves and managing inventory as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication is key in serving diverse customers.
  • Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries via phone.
