Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities

  • Deliver and support annual waste management and diversion training programs for team members working with third-party assets.
  • Proactively coordinate with internal teams and external partners to manage client communications, sales enablement, and educational outreach.
  • Lead multiple waste management projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent communication with stakeholders and serving as the primary subject matter expert for waste reduction and diversion practices.

  • Manage collection, analysis, and reporting of waste data—including landfill and diversion metrics—and ensure timely delivery of accurate reports to clients.
  • Maintain current knowledge of waste billing processes used by third-party vendors within the multifamily industry.
  • Partner with preferred vendors to design and refine performance reports, track new business onboarding, and analyze data to enhance outcomes.
  • Oversee the ordering, implementation, and execution of waste management and diversion services.
  • Collaborate with Clients and Operations teams to educate, promote, and deliver waste and diversion solutions offered through third-party partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and recommend enhancements to maximize operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on emerging waste management trends, sustainability initiatives, and industry innovations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Waste Management within the real estate or residential housing industry (preferred).
  • TRUE Certification preferred.
  • Strong ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both in-person and virtually, utilizing PowerPoint and web-based tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Proven communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated success in sustainability-focused service delivery, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Solid project management experience—developing plans, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Experience in delivering training, thought leadership, and best practices on waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and data management software.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills to interpret performance data and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
  • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, training, or business events.
