Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Technical Lead with a strong background in modern web technologies and a keen eye for detail & excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have experience in front-end, back-end development & strong leadership skills. This role requires proficiency in AWS, Angular and Java and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Lead & work with the rest of the team to deliver on time and high-quality results. This is a hands-on role at both the design and development levels along with mentoring team of 4-5 developers. You'll be part of a collaborative team driving innovation and high-impact outcomes for critical digital initiatives.
As we explore emerging technologies, there may also be opportunities to contribute to projects involving Generative AI and Agentic AI, helping shape the future of intelligent systems across our platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable and secure solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance
- Lead and guide a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications using Angular and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other development teams to define and deliver new features
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
- Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve the performance of existing applications
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the use of cutting-edge solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full development stack
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development & 2+ Years as Team lead.
- Strong proficiency in Angular and Java, with experience in developing complex, high-performance applications
- Extensive experience with AWS services
- In-depth understanding of front-end and back-end development processes
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services
- Proven ability to lead and manage development projects from concept to completion
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Experience with caching optimizations and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, ECR, and ECS
- Experience with relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Experience with Python will be an added advantage.
