Job Description

We are seeking a Business/QA Analyst to work closely with project managers, technical architects, developers, and business users to ensure that business requirements are properly addressed in both functional design and testing. This role will be responsible for developing functional documentation, designing test cases, and ensuring the delivery of applications that meet the defined business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with project teams, including business users, developers, and technical architects, to understand business requirements and application design specifications.
  • Develop functional documentation based on business requirements and facilitate review and approval processes with stakeholders.
  • Review user stories and acceptance criteria to design functional documentation and create test cases.
  • Plan, create, and execute test cases to ensure the delivered functionality aligns with the business requirements outlined in approved documentation.
  • Participate in projects from design to deployment to ensure that the system meets all defined business requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with team members to understand project deliverables, business needs, and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in testing mobile devices, desktop, and web applications.
  • 2+ years of experience in functional design documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience in test planning and test execution.
  • 2+ years of experience in data manipulation and analysis in an SQL environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, logical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to listen and understand the needs of stakeholders.
  • Familiar with the software development lifecycle, functional design documentation, and testing practices.
  • Experience working in Agile project management environments.
