Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing vendor accounts through accurate invoice processing, payment execution, credit memo tracking, and discrepancy resolution in collaboration with the Purchasing Department. This role also includes project work as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way matching preferred).
  • Track and process return credit memos.
  • Investigate and resolve vendor discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and other departments.
  • Support AP Manager with special projects.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in accounts payable and invoice processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (EPICOR experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ethical and accountable work approach.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $26.00/hr.
