A nationally respected, chef-driven restaurant group in Charlotte is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision and daily operations of one of its premier concepts. This role requires a dynamic and creative culinary leader with a passion for scratch cooking, local sourcing, and leading high-volume, high-performance kitchens with precision and artistry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent execution of refined, ingredient-driven cuisine that aligns with the restaurant's farm-to-table philosophy.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of talented chefs and cooks, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and culinary excellence.
  • Drive menu innovation by developing seasonal offerings and daily features that reflect regional flavors and sustainability.
  • Manage food and labor costs, ensuring profitability while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local farmers, artisans, and purveyors to champion locally sourced and responsibly raised ingredients.
  • Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership to execute strategic culinary initiatives and elevate the guest experience.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in compliance with local and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive culinary leadership experience, including at least 3 years as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a chef-driven or fine-dining concept.
  • Proven success in managing multi-million-dollar kitchen operations with a focus on scratch production and seasonal cooking.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a cohesive culinary team.
  • Strong business acumen, including expertise in cost control, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, craftsmanship, and creating memorable dining experiences.
