About The Role

Shared Services Coordinator
, you'll be the driving force behind smooth operations in our Janitorial and Landscaping divisions — helping our teams grow, thrive, and stay connected. You'll partner closely with our Recruiting team and manager to bring in top talent, support seamless onboarding experiences, and keep our employee records running like a well-oiled machine.
What You'll Do
As a Shared Services Coordinator with a
staffing focus
, you'll:
- Collaborate closely with the Shared Services Coordinator focused on Recruiting to align hiring priorities.
- Manage job requisitions in Dayforce and post openings across multiple platforms (Career Page, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, BHive, and more).
- Track progress of all recruiting activity in Dayforce and Google Docs — keeping management updated daily.
- Own the onboarding process — from processing paperwork to welcoming new hires with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with Budd standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct background checks and facilitate pre-employment drug testing.
- Lead Warm Welcomes and New Hire Orientations that make first days feel special.
- Cross-train on customer profiles and support other Shared Services Coordinators as needed.
- Schedule and host engaging New Employee Orientation sessions and job fairs.
- Take on additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned by your manager.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Bring a minimum of 1 year of experience in recruiting/staffing, and onboarding — you're the matchmaker who connects great people with great opportunities
- Strong grasp of office operations
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — and a professional, positive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize tasks, and handle challenges with common sense
Preferred:
- Familiarity with HR principles and best practices (SHRM certification a plus).
- Experience with HRIS systems, especially Dayforce.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
