Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement custom technology solutions that directly enhance our practice operations, billing workflows, and data management. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for end-to-end software development, cloud integration, and large-scale storage systems.

You will build tools that make daily operations faster and more efficient, from a practice management system to analytics dashboards, while also exploring AI-driven enhancements for patient data accuracy and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a practice management system (similar to Open Dental) for scheduling, billing, and patient records.
  • Build data analysis dashboards to improve operational and financial decision-making.
  • Design and manage cloud-based and private storage systems to handle large volumes of patient and practice data.
  • Integrate billing workflows with third-party payment and insurance platforms.
  • Optimize software systems to make operations, billing, and data handling more efficient.
  • Prototype AI features for improved patient information management and automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Java / Python / C# / .NET (at least one).
  • Proficiency with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
  • Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private storage systems .
  • Ability to manage large-scale data storage and optimize system performance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthcare IT, EMR/EHR, or practice management systems.
  • Background in data analytics, BI tools, or machine learning frameworks.
