About the Role (Summary of project)

Gentis Solutions is seeking a
Project Manager III
to support a major client's
Procurement and PMO organization
in
Nashville, TN
. This position manages
complex, cross-functional projects
across business and technical teams, driving program success through clear communication, structured planning, and strong stakeholder management.

The PM will collaborate with global teams to enhance
portfolio management and procurement operations
while overseeing the execution of tech-related projects. This is a high-visibility role, interacting with leadership at the
SVP level
across multiple regions.

This position fills a
temporary vacancy
due to a team member on leave.

What You'll Do (Job Description):

  • Lead and deliver
    cross-functional projects
    that span business and technology organizations.
  • Develop
    project scopes, goals, and deliverables
    aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage
    project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation
    .
  • Use data and metrics to drive
    process improvement and operational efficiency
    .
  • Conduct
    root cause analysis
    and implement performance improvement strategies.
  • Utilize
    project management tools
    such as Asana and MS Project to track progress.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
  • Foster operational excellence and collaboration across teams.

What We're Looking For (Must Haves):

  • 5+ years
    of project management experience (enterprise or cross-functional preferred).
  • PMP certification
    (required).
  • Advanced proficiency with
    Asana
    and other project management tools.
  • Proven success managing
    procurement or technology-focused projects
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    performance improvement, change management, and data-driven decision making
    .
  • Excellent
    communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation
    skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on project delivery.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in
    global business units or procurement organizations
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Amazon Leadership Principles
    — Ownership, Bias for Action, Customer Obsession, Deliver Results.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to dynamic business needs.
