Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Support Specialist to join our client's team in Washington, D.C. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless and effective operation of all audio-visual and conference room systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AV technologies, a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and excellent communication skills. This position requires a professional who can manage projects, work with vendors, and apply ITIL principles to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for the implementation, maintenance, and support of audio-visual and conference room technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft Surface HUB, Polycom, and other AV equipment.
- Support and manage collaboration platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom, to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Manage AV-related projects from conception to completion, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
- Act as a key point of contact for vendor management, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of services.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to ITIL principles for incident, problem, and change management.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors, providing clear and concise updates on all projects and support issues.
Qualifications
Demonstrated technical experience in the audio-visual field.
Relevant engineering certifications with a focus on audio-visual and conference room equipment (e.g., Microsoft Surface HUB, Polycom).
Current CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) Certification is required.
Experience with implementing and supporting AV solutions for corporate conference rooms and situation rooms.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting collaboration technologies like Teams and Zoom.
Proven project management and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and experience with a service management platform like Service-Now.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
