Job Summary

The Merchandise Flow Team Member plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of merchandise within the store. This position involves receiving, processing, and stocking products while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will possess a variety of skills related to construction and maintenance, enabling them to contribute effectively to the team and support overall store operations.

Duties

  • Receive and unload merchandise deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
  • Organize and stock products on shelves, ensuring proper placement according to store layout.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment for assembly and installation tasks.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute merchandising strategies effectively.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required to move products and materials throughout the store.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to assist with product placement and store layout adjustments.
  • Provide basic maintenance support as needed, including plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks.

Skills

  • Proficiency in construction techniques, including plumbing, welding, and carpentry.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with construction site experience, including safety protocols.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics for effective product placement.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and product measurements.
  • Experience in field service roles or maintenance person positions is a plus.
  • Capability for heavy lifting and physical endurance for long shifts.
  • Knowledge of pipe threading and remodeling practices is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $29.90 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
