Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as a part-time 1099 contractor, providing psychiatric services to our clients through a hybrid/telehealth model across our Augusta and Macon locations.

The ideal candidate will work 8–12 hours per week and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with diverse mental health conditions.
• Conduct medication management and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Offer psychoeducation and medication management guidance to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in meetings or case reviews as needed to discuss treatment strategies and client progress.
• Stay informed of current best practices and advances in psychiatric care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatry.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) by the ANCC.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a PMHNP preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.

Work Schedule & Terms

• Schedule: Flexible, typically 1–2 clinic days per week (Monday–Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) for a total of 8–12 hours weekly.
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor.
• Contract Term: Ongoing, renewable annually.
• Work Setting: Hybrid/Telehealth across both sites (Augusta and Macon).

Collaboration & Support

The PMHNP will collaborate with our Clinic Manager and physician, receiving administrative support from our front-office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and continuity of care.
