Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Specialist to join our team In this role you will support business operations and compliance management for Supplier onboarding to our Supply Chain and continue use of Ariba SLP and other supply chain applications.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Works with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to complete assigned Supplier onboarding tasks in the SAP Ariba system in a timely manner.
- Tracking progress and working with internal support as needed for technical issues or operational situations that delay or impact registration in Ariba or other applications.
- Support the internal and external stakeholders with operational process tasks knowledge and information status to obtain the desired resolution.
- Create operational documentation to include training resources.
- May support various audit requests from compliance and internal/external audits relating to process controls.
- Perform other responsibilities associated within Supply Chain as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (or related field) and typically 2 years of related work experience.
- Will consider experienced individual in lieu of Academic requirement.
- Experience working in SAP ARIBA Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) module
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional areas within the company.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have ability to prioritize.
