Grant Writer

Tailored Care LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Grant Writer to join our team. The Grant Writer will play a critical role in securing vital funding for our programs and initiatives by researching and developing compelling grant proposals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successful grant writing and a passion for supporting our mission.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify new grant opportunities from government, corporate, and private foundation sources.
• Write, prepare, and submit compelling and well-researched grant proposals and letters of inquiry (LOIs).
• Collaborate with program managers, finance staff, and other team members to gather necessary data, project information, and budget details for proposals.
• Maintain a grants calendar to monitor application progress, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure all grant applications and reports are submitted accurately and on time, following all funder guidelines.
• Develop and cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing funders.
• Track and report on the status of all submitted proposals and manage grant award processes, including project outcomes and financial reporting.
• Stay up-to-date on trends in fundraising, grant writing, and the specific field of our organization.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in grant writing with a successful track record of securing grants.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management) is preferred.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, grammar, and communication skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and data-driven narratives.
• Research Abilities: Strong research skills to identify funding opportunities and gather supporting evidence for proposals.
• Organizational Skills: Outstanding multitasking and organizational abilities to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
• Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with database or donor management software (e.g., Raiser's Edge NXT) is a plus.
