Job overview:
Schneider is seeking an Inside Sales Intern in Dallas, TX to provide support to Schneider's sales team. The Inside Sales Intern will gain an understanding of transportation, sales and customer service through training opportunities and hands-on work assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply Schneider's sales process.
- Prospect and cold call new customers to build a book of business.
- Educate customers on how to use our digital tools to improve their business needs.
- Focus on business growth opportunities to meet sales goals.
Internship-specific opportunities:
- Networking events with Schneider associates.
- Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders.
- Business resource groups meetings and events.
- Volunteer activities.
- After-work social gatherings.
Skills and qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at a college or university.
- Working toward a bachelor's degree.
- Able to work full-time over the summer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
