Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to accurately identify problems across a variety of vehicle systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems with efficiency and precision.
• Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to guide complex repairs and ensure accuracy.
• Replace worn or damaged components using hand and power tools, maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Perform wheel alignments and system calibrations to optimize vehicle handling and safety system performance.
• Repair engines, transmissions, and other complex mechanical systems with close attention to detail and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Maintain detailed service records to ensure transparency, traceability, and accurate customer histories.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly explaining repair work, providing honest recommendations, and fostering customer trust.
• Support the estimating process by accurately assessing repair needs for warranty, insurance, or customer quotes.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and engine repair.
• Hands-on experience with system calibrations, wheel alignment procedures, schematics reading, and diagnostics tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with excellent understanding of automotive repair procedures across various vehicle makes—especially KIA/Mazda vehicles is a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics effectively for complex repairs.
• Service technician experience demonstrating the ability to diagnose issues accurately and perform repairs efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
• Auto estimating skills are desirable for assessing repair costs accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and maintenance protocols is essential.
