Hours: 3 PM - 8 PM
Pay: 19 an hour

Job Description:
Maya Homecare is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) who speaks Greek for an immediate opening in Old Bridge, NJ. This position involves providing essential care and support to an elderly couple in their home.
Responsibilities:
- Companionship: Provide engaging conversation and emotional support to both the mother and father.
- Meal Assistance: Warm up and serve the evening meal. No cooking required; ensure the meal is presented and ready for the clients.
- Medication Management: Remind and assist the father in taking his medication between 7 PM and 8 PM.
- Mobility Support: Monitor and assist the mother as she walks around the home to ensure her safety.
- Safety and Well-being: General supervision to ensure the clients are comfortable and secure.
Requirements:
- Must be a certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Fluent in Greek.
- Experience in caregiving with a strong understanding of elderly care needs.
- Ability to perform light meal preparation (warming food) and follow medication schedules.
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- Position requires a start time between 3 PM and 4 PM, ending at 8 PM.
- Immediate availability is essential.
- Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for providing compassionate care and support.
