Role Description

Trading Blitz is seeking a visionary and technically adept Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead all aspects of our technology strategy and infrastructure scaling. This role is critical for driving the final stages of our launch.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep full stack development background combined with specific expertise in financial services / trading, payments, and Web3 technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership and Strategy:

  • Define, develop, and execute the company's technical vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, particularly in scaling the gaming and financial components.
  • Lead the entire engineering function, overseeing architecture, development, quality assurance, and deployment across web and mobile platforms.
  • Manage and expand the existing development team, which currently includes two developers.

Product Development and Infrastructure:

  • Oversee the maintenance and scaling of the existing technology stack.
  • Drive the completion of the final MVP milestones for launch.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the platform.
  • Manage integration and optimization of third-party tools (e.g. TradingView charting library).

Financial Services, Payments, and Web3:

  • Architect and implement a high-volume, secure payment system capable of handling entry fees and prize disbursement.
  • Lead the strategy and technical execution for the planned issuance of a company token (Web3 integration).
  • Establish and maintain robust data infrastructure to manage advanced trading statistics.

Required Qualifications

  • Full Stack Mastery:
    Proven experience as a hands-on, full stack developer with expertise in our core technologies:
    Django (Python), PostgreSQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and mobile development
    .
  • Financial Domain Expertise:
    Significant professional experience working within the
    trading, financial services, or fintech
    industry.
  • Payment Systems Experience:
    Demonstrated background in building, integrating, and managing complex, secure payment processing systems, especially those dealing with
    cash prize gaming
    or high-frequency transactions.
  • Web3/Blockchain Knowledge:
    Experience or strong understanding of decentralized technologies, token issuance, and integrating blockchain solutions into existing applications.
  • Architectural Leadership:
    Proven ability to design scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for complex applications, ideally involving real-time data or high-volume user interactions (e.g., trading or gaming platforms).
  • Team Building:
    Experience hiring, leading, and mentoring engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing software related to order management systems or proprietary trading algorithms.
  • Background in scaling consumer-facing applications that require high user engagement and community features.
