Genesys Senior Developer | W2 Only About the Role

We're seeking an experienced
Genesys Senior Developer
to lead our customer engagement platform development and optimization. This is a direct W2 employment opportunity designing and implementing enterprise-scale contact center solutions using Genesys Cloud and on-premises technology.

Design, develop, and maintain Genesys contact center solutions

Architect custom integrations between Genesys and business applications

Develop APIs and web services for Genesys platforms (Cloud, PureConnect, PureEngage)

Implement IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and call routing solutions

Configure and customize Genesys workflows and business rules

Lead migration projects from legacy systems to Genesys Cloud

Develop custom reporting and analytics solutions using Genesys APIs

Implement security, compliance, and data governance requirements

Mentor junior developers and conduct technical code reviews

Troubleshoot complex integration and configuration issues

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and system administrators

Optimize performance and system reliability

Stay current with Genesys updates and industry best practices

Must-Have:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 4+ years of hands-on Genesys development (Cloud, PureConnect, or PureEngage)
• Expert knowledge of Genesys APIs (REST, WebSocket, XMPP)
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Strong understanding of contact center operations and workflows
• Experience with IVR design and implementation
• Proficiency with call routing, ACD (Automatic Call Distribution), and CTI (Computer Telephony Integration)
• Knowledge of integration tools and middleware (Zapier, MuleSoft, Integration Broker, etc.)
• Experience with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL)
• Understanding of web services and microservices architecture
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Highly Preferred:

• Genesys Cloud certification or Genesys Developer certification
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of real-time communication protocols (SIP, RTP)
• Experience with Genesys Engage and Platform Services
• Familiarity with advanced analytics and reporting tools
• Experience with RabbitMQ or message queuing systems
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with secure communication protocols and compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
• Background in omnichannel communication solutions

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• Genesys Developer Certification
• Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Java, C#, or Python certifications
• Any additional Genesys partner certifications
