We are seeking an experienced full-time visual merchandiser to join our team at Fireworks Galleries. This position assists the store in reaching sales goals by maintaining the visual standards in the store and creating a consistent, unified visual look with attention to design and ease of shopping. If you have a passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics, we would love to hear from you.

Candidate must be able to travel to all of our Seattle area locations. Must be able to pass a background security check for our airport locations. The position is 36-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the VM manager, retail managers, and floor staff to create and maintain effective displays.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in merchandising and display – take chances and risks – research and test creative new display ideas. Find new ways to increase sales/ sq. ft. throughout the store.
  • Manage projects and resources effectively and creatively. Maintain and organize props and materials.
  • Act as a display resource for store staff– proactively work with floor staff to teach, advise, and support.
  • When working on the sales floor, the VM is expected to help with customer service as they are able, to ensure that customers have a great Fireworks experience.

Qualifications:

-One year + of visual merchandising experience

-Ability to be analytical, problem solve and manage projects

-Highly developed sense of style, polish, and discernment

-Experience with space and fixture planning

-Exceedingly detailed and able to work at a fast pace

-Professional level of communication and presence

-Dependable with a reliable means of transportation

-Strong creativity and problem-solving skills

-Able to work independently and be self-motivated

-Able to lift and carry 30lbs

-Able to travel to all 7 area stores as needed
