Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Employment Law Associate with at least 3 years of experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, counseling, and compliance matters.

What you'll do

  • Counsel clients in employment-related matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims
  • Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and handbooks
  • Conduct workplace investigations and training
  • Support clients in labor relations and collective bargaining matters (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to business development initiatives

Basic qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 3 years of employment law experience, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate with colleagues & work independently

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience or coursework in employment law or related fields such as landlord-tenant law, environmental law, or securities law.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Proficiency in legal writing and drafting with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures.
  • Prior experience in a law office setting is highly desirable.
