We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Technician to join our technology team.
Responsibilities
- Network Administrations
• The medical IT specialist shall have knowledge of implementing and administering common Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol based services within a complex enterprise data center environment. Combines knowledge of network systems and cybersecurity to tactically apply information security principles to track all planned changes to assigned systems, assessing planned changes to determine potential system security posture impact, ensure timely identification and reporting of planned Network Attached Storage system changes with potential cybersecurity impact and support cyber operations activity. Experience of administration and management of the 10 operations of a multitude of network appliances, systems, and backbone routers and switches. - • Experience with monitoring and managing of networks for network health and configuration of functional, local, and wide area networks, and associated hardware software. Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates abnormal situations related to network degradation caused by incorrect software, inadequate operating procedures, equipment failure.
- • Knowledge and experience with programing and maintaining networking devices; monitoring and troubleshooting network elements to ensure that problems are discovered and resolved in a timely manner. Troubleshooting and resolving all information technology problems and determines whether cable, equipment, or operations is the problem.
• Administering networks in an operational environment; this includes 1) Installing, maintaining, and 2) securing Cisco routers and switches; 3) Administering Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Firewalls and Cisco Identity Service Administering the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems to include routers, switches, workstations and servers in an Operational Technology (OT)/ Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environment.Information Technology/Cybersecurity
• Managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment. Resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems. Applying knowledge of software defined networking technologies that use software-based controllers or application programming interfaces (APls) to communicate with underlying hardware infrastructure and direct traffic on a network. Maintaining current knowledge of hardware and software products, including those from Cisco and other manufacturers, as well as Windows and Linux products and public domain utilities. Performing a variety of network device configuration and connectivity tasks. Executing procedures and coordinating corrective action to optimize network performance. Installing, configuring and monitoring tested and evaluated software packages that provide performance measurements of the WAN/LAN.- Implementing the standard configuration software loads for all network devices. Utilizing benchmarks and performance measurement and evaluation data to manage network servers and data communication devices to support normal and surge workload. Works with technical support personnel in resolving critical problems. Provide troubleshooting support and work with Tier 2 and 3 technical staff to assist users supported Branch's regarding the WAN/LAN using automated reporting and monitoring systems. Assist administrators and engineers in the operation and troubleshooting of data center device, operating systems, applications, and hardware. This is accomplished by performing tasks assigned by the systems administrators and engineers.

- Knowledge of, and skill in applying, most of the following: IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices; the mission and programs of customer organizations; the organization's IT infrastructure; performance management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques; systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, and tools; IT security principles and methods; requirement analysis principles and methods; COTS 11 products and components; Internet technologies to analyze the Internet potential of systems, networks, and data; new and emerging information technologies and/or industry trends; acquisition management policies and procedures; cost- benefit analysis principles and methods; analytical methods and practices; project management principles and methods; and oral and written communication techniques.
- In addition, knowledge of, and skill in applying network systems design, development, testing, installation, operations, management, and maintenance concepts and methods; and the organization's network architecture, topology, and protocols which is sufficient to provide network services that support business requirements.
- Knowledge of or certification of user competence with commonly used business COTS software programs – specifically, Microsoft Office Suite of software programs (i.e., Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

- Possess a minimum of 8 years' experience working in medical administrative field,
- BS degree is required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110, $115,278.79 per year
