Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-oriented Restoration Superintendent to lead our construction projects (Masonry/Concrete projects) and serve as the key liaison between project stakeholders. In this role, you will manage on-site operations, supervise field teams, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining site organization, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring that quality standards are consistently met. Additionally, you will coordinate with inspection authorities to secure necessary approvals and ensure all equipment and materials are readily available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations on restoration job sites, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with Project Managers to develop and maintain project schedules
• Supervise field crews (ranging from and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with scope specifications and safety standards over multiple projects.
• Hires, trains, and manages construction workers, maintaining the reputation of high-quality craftsmanship.
• Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings.
• Develop and maintain a complete and detailed project schedule and manage work in accordance with it (including cost objectives for employees, materials, and equipment, as well as quality control on the job site).
• Make sure all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed.
• Effective and timely resolution of conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims.
• Enforce company policies and RAM's core values on the job site
• Provide disciplinary or corrective action professionally.
• Monitor performance, coordinate work to maintain productivity, and ensure an adequate workforce.
• Ensure all work is constructed following all contract documents.

Education Required:

This position requires an education level of High School/GED Equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.

Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

• 5 years' experience in commercial construction and working in a Superintendent role, preferred or 10+ years' experience in commercial construction
• Experience working with a specialty contractor and experience with self-performing contractors preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam)
• Demonstrate strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Effective and professional communication skills within all levels- project manager, contractors, and clients, etc. - written and oral
• Proficient in Microsoft Office- including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Blueprint & Spec Reading
• The employee must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Excels at motivating a team and has strong management skills.
• Must have extensive knowledge of construction safety and demonstrate and enforce a strong safety culture.

Work Environment:

As a Superintendent for RAM, the employee will be subject to various work environments. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, and areas close to traffic.

Travel:

• Travel is required for this position; the employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites and other Midwest offices. RAM will provide a per diem compensation for travel and overnight stays, if applicable.
