Leave Administration Specialist
Our client is seeking a Leave Administration Specialist to support Corporate Benefits operations across the U.S. This role ensures compliance with federal and state leave laws (FMLA, state paid family leave, USERRA) and assists with internal leave policies and ADA accommodations. The position is based in Houston, TX, reporting to the Director of Payroll & Benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and track employee leaves under federal, state, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records in HRIS and third-party leave systems.
- Provide guidance to employees, HR, and managers on leave policies and processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable leave and accommodation laws.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate pay during leaves.
- Support worker's compensation claims and ADA accommodations as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide reports on leave status.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of nationwide leave administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave laws.
- HRIS experience (Dayforce preferred); proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Absence Management certifications a plus.
