The Pharmacy Contracting Professional 2 ensures all published materials support the contracting process, including but not limited to pharmacy provider manuals for Medicare and Medicaid, policy documents, pharmacy communications, regulatory contract compliance, and other communications. The Pharmacy Contracting Professional 2 may perform analysis regarding pharmacy claims and purchasing data to identify future contracting opportunities, draft communications for stakeholder review and approval, and coordinate with various departments to draft, approve, and publish communications. The Pharmacy Contracting Professional 2 understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 1 - 4 years' experience in pharmacy contracting, or pharmacy administrative support, or marketing/communications for pharmacy or payer networks, including development, implementation, and maintenance of documentation, policies, communications, or similar standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous account management, project management or related experience
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Process improvement experience
  • Strong financial acumen with proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$65,000 - $88,600 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
