Join us at Apex Skin, where you can be a part of a great team transforming lives through healthy skin Apex Skin Call Center Representatives are responsible for answering incoming phone calls, collecting patient information, scheduling appointments, and keeping records. The ideal candidate can work as a team member, is well-organized with attention to detail, and is personable. We have full-time and part-time positions available. This is a fully remote position.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Experience with Medical scheduling software preferred
  • Experience working in a Call Center preferred
  • One year's experience in medical insurance coding or record-keeping preferred

Essential Functions

  • Complete and accurate appointment scheduling, pre-registration, eligibility screening, insurance verification, pre-authorization, and taking payments
  • Obtain, record, and update PHI and financial information accurately.
  • Verify insurance using Optum/Availity/EMR IE verification process.
  • May be required to travel to other locations due to staffing needs.
  • Receive inbound phone calls for clinic appointments from patients
  • Transmit correspondence or medical records appropriately

  • Must have high-speed Wi-Fi or wired ethernet connection.
  • Designated workspace that is quiet and distraction-free during your work shift
