Park Schools Montessori (PS) is looking for School Director who will oversee the daily operations and administration of the preschool. The candidate will be experienced in the field of early childhood development and lead management of the school. The School Director's responsibilities include recruitment of staff, property maintenance, marketing and communication, financial management, and communication with role players. To be successful as a School Director, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as love for children.

The School Director will mentor the Park Schools Montessori teaching team and use programmatic data to provide quality assurance oversight to ensure that program delivery meets educational standards and aligns with Montessori principles. The position is ideal for an Montessori Certified professional with a Bachelor's Degree in education or any related field who has preschool teaching experience and is ready to assume a role in administration.

Park Schools Montessori, is a premier Montessori educational program based in Atlanta, Georgia. We shift the dynamics of early childhood education by presenting a hybrid of Montessori and S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Our Montessori program teaches a balanced approach to self-awareness and independence. Our learning design supports a unique play-based learning model, that incorporates developmental and environmental sustainability, perma-culture (gardening), technology and engineering at a very early age. We also incorporate other learning experiences that make Park Schools Montessori a unique Montessori program and experience.

Salary: Starting at $56k + based on experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in education or related field required
  • With Management Expertise
  • AMI Montessori certification.
  • Expertise in Montessori philosophy and practice
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of teaching experience and Minimum of 3 years' of Director experience .
  • Minimum of 3 years' classroom experience.
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills.
  • Must be a highly motivated team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about educating young minds and strengthening families and building community
  • Flexibility to make thoughtful decisions in an evolving, multi-faceted environment with fluctuating demands
  • Ability to understand and use programmatic data to improve program quality
