We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Netapp/Server Ops Systems Engineerto join our team. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security of storage and server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.

Primary Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Design, deploy, and manage NetApp storage systems and server infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize storage and server performance and reliability.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with network, server, and application teams to integrate storage and compute resources.
• Automate tasks and workflows using scripts or configuration management tools.
• Maintain system documentation, generate reports, and support audits or compliance initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers on best practices and technical solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 - 8 years of experience
• An ability to work independently, multi-task, and communicate effectively will be required for this role.
• US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance
• Strong knowledge of storage protocols (SAN, NAS, NFS, CIFS) and server administration (Linux and Windows).
• Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
