As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure atmosphere for everyone on site. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors entering the location.
• Observe and report activities or incidents, completing detailed and accurate incident reports as required.
• Communicate with the Allied Universal team and/or client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or unusual activities observed during patrols.
• Assist with security-related drills and training exercises to support preparedness for emergency situations.
• Provide visible presence in assigned areas to help to deter potential security-related incidents or disruptions within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
