AIML - Annotation Program Manager, Safety Data Operations

As an Annotations Program Manager, you'll be at the core of our AI/ML development process. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define annotation requirements, manage operational projects from prototype to scale, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality data. This includes the Responsible AI group, which focuses on ensuring the safety, fairness, and robustness of large generative models for vision and language. Your work will directly contribute to the success of the next generation of Apple products and features.
This role offers an outstanding opportunity to gain deep expertise in the rapidly evolving field of AIML, working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional programs across global teams, with a proven track record of delivering results.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to understand and consolidate multiple points of view into an influential recommendation to move projects forward.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence partners at all levels.
A relentless focus on delivering results and exceeding expectations, taking full ownership of your projects from start to finish.
A strategic problem-solver with a passion for continuous improvement and a curiosity about identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Comfortable working with sensitive materials including exposure to offensive and controversial content.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with annotated data and ML researchers in Safety Human Evaluation and Red Teaming.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar science or technology field and script writing skills for data manipulation are a plus.
