Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently using various accounting software tools such as OLT Pro, Tax Slayer, or other financial software platforms.
  • Review financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and compliance with current tax laws.
  • Analyze client financial data to identify deductions, credits, and opportunities for tax savings while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations by explaining tax concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and industry best practices to ensure all filings are compliant with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation, answer questions about their filings, and provide guidance on future tax planning strategies.
  • Support marketing efforts by engaging with potential clients through Social Media, Field Marketing and Referrals about tax preparation services.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, filings, and correspondence for audit readiness and future reference.
  • Strong knowledge of tax preparation procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as OLT Pro, Tax Slayer, or similar platforms; familiarity with technical accounting principles is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Experience with financial sales or marketing strategies that help attract new clients or expand services offered.
  • Familiarity with 10-key typing for efficient data entry and document processing.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines during peak seasons; attention to detail is essential.
