Position Overview

This role supports the development and operation of large-scale infrastructure platforms used across high-performance computing, data science, and live-trading environments. The engineering team provides core frameworks and services that enable other teams to build, deploy, and manage workloads with speed and reliability in both on-premises and cloud environments.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional software engineering experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, Java, or C++
  • Strong foundation in Linux systems and networking fundamentals
  • Experience working with large distributed systems
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with GenAI-based systems development is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, distributed infrastructure platforms across hybrid environments (on-prem and public cloud)
  • Integrate emerging technologies and open-source tools into platform ecosystems, including conducting evaluations and proof-of-concepts
  • Support platform availability through participation in on-call rotations and lead incident response, including detailed post-mortem analysis and preventative planning
  • Define and advocate for best practices in platform architecture, tooling, and operational standards across engineering teams
  • Drive end-to-end execution of cross-functional platform initiatives, working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver robust infrastructure solutions

Required Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in platform or software engineering; preference for 5–12 years of experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in Linux systems, network infrastructure, and systems performance analysis
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems and workload orchestration
  • Strong coding ability in Python, Java, or C++

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in implementing or supporting systems that leverage Generative AI technologies
  • Experience leading platform modernization or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with cloud-native tools and practices
