Barista Shift Lead (Weekend Focus)

Morning Mugs Coffee isn't your average coffee shop. We've been voted Best Coffee Shop in Baltimore four years in a row and we live by the motto that we don't just sell coffee, we sell a good time. Our shops are built on community, energy, and hospitality. We're looking for an Barista Shift Lead who can keep that spirit alive while helping us run a tight, efficient operation.

What You'll Do

  • Strong skillset on Semi Automatic Espresso Machine and handling rushes
  • Lead the shop on weekends and busy shifts, keeping things running smoothly when the pressure is high
  • Be the go-to leader when the owner is offsite and the anchor presence when the owner is in the shop
  • Assist with ordering and inventory once you've learned our systems
  • Bring your own knowledge and ideas to the table to help us build better processes for the future

Who You Are

  • You MUST have barista experience and can lead from the bar
  • You have 2+ years of shift lead experience in coffee, food and beverage, or fast-paced retail
  • You thrive in busy environments and can keep calm under pressure
  • You understand that hospitality is just as important as efficiency
  • You're organized, reliable, and comfortable making decisions
  • You're excited about the idea of growing into a bigger leadership role down the road
