T
echnology Business Manager
to work with senior technology leadership in driving organizational effectiveness, strategy, and execution. This role blends elements of strategic planning, program management, and workforce management at the heart of an organization that lives at the intersection of business and technology.

This role will act as a trusted advisor and operator, aiding the IDS technology organization to run smoothly, align with business priorities, and deliver Firm-wide, measurable impact. This will be a high-visibility position with exposure to senior leaders and is an excellent opportunity for growth-minded individuals aspiring to future leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Support technology leadership in defining and tracking strategic priorities, key objectives & results, and other initiatives

  • Conduct research, prepare executive briefings, and provide insights to influence decision-making
  • Move from high level strategy to action plans for the organization to execute on

  • Program & Project Management

  • Drive cross-functional projects from initiation to completion; ensure expectations for delivery are met (time, cost, and outcome)

  • Proactively identify risks for delivery, key dependencies, and roadblocks and work through solutions for them
  • Manage stakeholders through effective communications via multiple channels; supply dashboards, reports, presentation decks as needed

  • Organizational Effectiveness:

  • Work with technology leadership and supporting organizations (HR, CAO/PMO )on workforce planning & composition strategies, aid in resource allocation and planning

  • Assist technology leadership with optimization efforts; team structures, processes, and KPIs to drive efficiency and impact
  • Manage vendor relationships, technology investment management, with budget management and planning
  • Serve as the glue for the organization and its constituent business partners; align goals and help provide clarity of purpose and priority

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Technology, Business, or related fields (advanced degrees/MBA a plus) preferred
  • 3-6 years of experience in technology strategy, consulting, project management, or business operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels and influence
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity as a self-starter with a proactive mindset
