Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer or EIT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing various residential land development projects, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop civil engineering projects including roads, water/sewer pipelines, and storm water management systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine project viability.
  • Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates using Civil 3D CAD software.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project alignment and compliance with regulations.
  • Utilize hydraulic modeling software to analyze water flow and drainage systems.
  • Create and review schematics for construction projects to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics principles and pipeline design.
  • Experience with Hydrocad or Hydroflow for engineering calculations.
  • Ability to create detailed schematics for various civil projects.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
  • Excellent project scheduling skills to manage timelines effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in design work.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
