Role Description

Currently seeking a full-time Assistant General Manager at AJ's Good Time Bar, owned by country music superstar Alan Jackson. Looking for the right candidate that has a passion for the honky tonk bar and music industry, as well as previous experience in nightlife and hospitality management. Qualifications:

• Must have previous hospitality experience, along with 2-3 years in management.
• Ability to multitask, work on numerous projects simultaneously and use sound judgement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in back office operations and software relating to such.

Proactive, anticipates needs and takes initiative, requires little direction, Understands the importance of a team environment.

Schedule will be night shift with focus on the busier weekend nights.

Responsibilities:

• Main supervisor for all staff.
• Organize, post, and adjust staff department schedules as delegated by GM.
• Communicate and police company policy standards and procedures to staff.
• Determine staffing needs and recruits new applicants to be approved for hire.
• Manage performance of all members of staff in all departments through delegation to department heads.
• Train, coach, and manage staff on company policies and procedures, and assess further development needs of individual team members.
• Maintain regular communication with staff and management through regular meetings.
• Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources.
• Work with GM to set and monitor all service standards.
• Implement improvements for products, and ensure uniformity in product preparation.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene state of the bar effectively, and communicating immediate maintenance needs to GM and maintenance department.
• Understand compliance with health department and all regularly inspected aspects of the operation.
• Provide best effort to stay current on relevant laws and legislation regarding the on- premises sell of alcohol in state and local ordinances.
• Oversee accurate cash out procedures with Bar staff and ensure proper closing duties are performed correctly.
• Monitor all inventory stock levels on liquor, dry stock, beer/ wine or other necessary needs.
• Delegate and oversee stock control procedures with Bar Manager.
• Enforce all cost control measures and company policies.
• Perform monthly inventory to ensure accountability of all product in the building
• Do weekly product orders, while staying in communication with bar manager and GM about product changes and new promotional products.
• Ensure that nightly operations go smoothly and handle any issues with tact and respect.

Pay: $55, $70,000.00 per year
