Job Summary:
DME, a fast-growing engineering and construction management company, We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our esteemed engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and oversight of diverse structural projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements..
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and refine structural designs and calculations for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
- Employ advanced engineering software tools for precise structural analysis and design.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to meet and exceed project objectives.
- Review and approve structural engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Promote a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes within the structural engineering field.
- Conduct research and development initiatives to enhance engineering methodologies and practices.
- Interface with clients to ascertain their needs and provide expert technical guidance.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, proposals, and design reviews to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering.
