Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new client relationships and managing existing accounts. Your expertise in B2B sales, territory management, and lead generation will be key to achieving sales targets and expanding our market presence. You will engage with clients in various industries, showcasing our products and services while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate leads and close deals in your assigned territory.
- Conduct canvassing strategies and follow-up on leads to establish new business opportunities.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through excellent service.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability for the company.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business development strategies.
- Participate in trade shows and networking events to promote our brand and generate leads.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in B2B environments.
- Strong background in account management and territory management is essential.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for effective lead generation and tracking is required.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to conduct product demos effectively and upsell services based on client needs.
- Experience in technology sales or technical sales is a plus but not mandatory.
