Job Purpose
The Resident Experience Assistant is responsible for assisting their supervisor with providing daily diversified program of individual and group activities that will enable each resident to engage in cultural, spiritual, emotional, environmental, intellectual, physical, social and civic activities within the community, in order to sustain and promote each resident's potential, happiness and sense of usefulness to self and others. This position is responsible for providing daily programs that residents consider fun and engaging. This position helps their supervisor to create a fun and lively environment within the community.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides outstanding services to all residents, family members, responsible persons, and visitors.
- Follows company policies, signature program guidelines and expectations when leading activities.
- Helps supervisor to ensure a full activity program is offered seven days a week.
- Drives the van as needed.
- Schedules and coordinates with third party vendors to ensure all third party led programs are executed as scheduled.
- Conducts/leads majority of programs.
- Is flexible in work schedule to accommodate special events and evening/weekend programs.
- Trains, supports, and instructs volunteers to assist with activities as needed.
- Plans, coordinates, and helps implement decorations for special events, seasons, and holidays.
- Coordinates family functions and events.
- Plans and attends weekly excursions.
- Identifies to supervisor needed supplies for planned activities.
- Assists with transportation for activity outings and regularly scheduled group trips.
- Drives the company vehicle for resident activities and appointments when needed, if certified and approved to do so.
- Carries out other duties as assigned by supervisor to ensure smooth operation of the program and to meet resident needs
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of personalities.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
- Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
Working Conditions
This position works within the Senior Living Community, where there may be possible exposure to communicable diseases and infection, exposure to latex, possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens, possible exposure to various chemical, infectious, or biological hazards, and possible exposure to pets.

This position is scheduled from Tuesday to Saturday. The responsibilities include:
Tuesday to Thursday: Driving the shuttle and assisting with various activities.
Friday and Saturday: Leading and managing activities for the team.
The role requires flexibility and the ability to engage with participants while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
