Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Project Management Specialist in the NY/NJ Area
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking systems to support project managers in monitoring project activities and milestones.
- Conduct data analysis, variance analysis, and performance assessments to identify trends, deviations, and potential risks that may impact project schedule, cost, or quality.
- Prepare regular project reports, dashboards, and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, project status, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to track project deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Support the implementation of project controls processes, change management procedures, and risk management strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project data, update project documentation, and ensure consistency and accuracy of project information.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and methodologies within the program controls office to optimize project performance and outcomes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- 0-2 years experience in project controls, program management, or project management in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project management software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and present complex project data effectively.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.
- Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and performance measurement metrics.
