Administrative/Home Staging Assistant

My Nest Is The Best, a growing, award-winning Home Staging and Redesign company based in Frederick, Maryland, is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team
An average work week will include: performing general office tasks such as answering the phone, responding to emails/text messages, preparing and sending out agreements and invoices, following up with clients, and maintaining the team calendar. This position will also assist with general warehouse tasks such as inventory management, organizing, light cleaning, and furniture assembly/repair. You may also be asked to travel locally to homes to pack up properties scheduled to be destaged. Please note that some facets of this job require physical effort and you may be required to lift and carry items and be on your feet throughout the course of the day.
This is a part-time position (averaging 20+ hours per week) but hours may vary week to week as needed. Core operational hours are typically between 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM but may vary. No nights, weekends, or major holidays. Must live locally, but there is an option to perform some tasks virtually from home.

Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria for this position:
- Availability to work Monday-Friday daytime (hours are somewhat flexible but ideal candidate will be regularly available during the core hours of 9-2
- Highly organized and able to maintain an orderly work environment
- Attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Computer proficiency including knowledge of Google Workspace and the ability to learn new software programs and apps
- A professional and positive attitude- you will often be the first person a potential client interacts with
- Adaptable and responsive
- Works well in a team environment, but can also work independently
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and own transportation.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted
- Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Able to climb stairs while carrying items
- A desire to learn new skills, grow, and contribute to the company's success
Responsibilities Include:
- Office management: Answer phones, respond to emails/texts, and keep the company CRM up to date.
- Scheduling and logistics: Coordinate staging and de-staging appointments in conjunction with the operations manager. Update the master calendar/schedule. Coordinate outside movers as required.
- Documentation: Prepare proposals, contracts, invoices, and other paperwork for clients.
- Inventory management: Assist with the upkeep of the inventory management system, including entering new projects and revising information.
- Warehouse organization: Support warehouse staff with general tasks such as cleaning, organizing, receiving deliveries, and assembly/repairs.
- Destaging Assistance: Travel to properties to pack and disassemble items for pick up by the staging team.
