PROJECT MANAGER – TURNKEY & INTEGRATED SYSTEMS

Location: Makino Corporate Office, Mason, OH — This is a full-time, on-site position reporting directly to the corporate office.

Position Summary

As a Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of Turnkey and Integrated Systems projects—from initial planning through installation, run-off, and final acceptance. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams including applications, mechanical, controls, and field service engineers, as well as external contractors. Your leadership will ensure projects meet performance, schedule, and budget goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution to meet performance, timeline, and cost objectives.
  • Define system and subcomponent specifications.
  • Develop comprehensive system operation documentation.
  • Lead project review and approval meetings with customers and vendors.
  • Coordinate system installation, start-up, and customer sign-off.
  • Organize and deliver system training to end users.
  • Initiate invoicing and support accounts receivable collection.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software; ability to manage and update critical path schedules.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, team members, and leadership.
  • Effective negotiation skills to finalize project scope and details.
  • Ability to assess team member capabilities and assign tasks accordingly.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a technical field.
  • Prior experience in managing complex technical projects is highly preferred.
