Role Overview:
The Finance Program Manager will lead strategic financial programs, cross-functional initiatives, and operational workflows that strengthen financial planning, governance, reporting, and long-term business performance. This role partners closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, Operations, HR, Procurement, and Leadership teams to drive alignment, improve financial processes, and ensure execution of key priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, program management expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cross-functional finance programs , ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
Drive process improvements and automation efforts across planning, forecasting, reporting, and spend management workflows.
Build and manage project plans, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to track financial initiatives and performance.
Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Business Operations to streamline quarterly planning cycles, headcount management, and budget workflows .
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to evaluate financial impacts of new initiatives, operational changes, and resource allocations .
Create and deliver program dashboards, executive summaries, and performance updates for leadership.
Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution for all finance-related programs and operational processes.
Manage cross-functional change-management efforts, including communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder alignment.
Partner with systems and tools teams to improve data accuracy, enhance reporting capabilities, and enable scalable financial operations.
Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements .
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, PMP, or similar certification is a plus.
5–10+ years of experience in program management, FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or financial operations within large or high-growth organizations.
Strong understanding of financial planning cycles, budgeting processes, financial controls, and cross-functional workflows.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs with clarity and structure.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Experience with productivity and BI tools (Sheets/Excel, Tableau, Looker, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, etc.).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Strong stakeholder-management skills and experience influencing at multiple organizational levels.
