Overview:

The SVP of Data Analytics will lead a growing technology organization's data analytics strategy and execution, driving analytics and insight generation as well as operational efficiencies. You will play a critical role in leveraging data to guide strategic direction, hiring, business process optimization, and enhancing the customer experience. This position requires a visionary leader with a strong blend of communication skills, technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to reinvent the company's relationship with data.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of data analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate data analytics into strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Leadership:

  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the data analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data to drive efficient hiring processes and cultivate talent pools.
  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and hold team members accountable.

Data Governance:

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of data assets.
  • Implement robust data quality assurance processes to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across all systems and platforms.

Predictive Analytics:

  • Lead the development of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI, to extract actionable insights and drive decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance predictive analytics capabilities and gain a competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership and success in developing and executing data analytics strategies in complex organizations.
  • Experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques, with proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and regulatory climate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of translating business objectives into actionable data analytics initiatives.
