JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Design/Development Lead Engineer for a full-time opportunity with a large Banking client in the Mt. Laurel, NJ area. This person will join a team of Engineers that has a heavy focus on building API's for the Bank's core applications. This Lead Engineer will manage the design and delivery of certain API's, and lead a team of Engineers while participating in high-level code design. They will be assigned certain aspects of the delivery process, and should be comfortable acting in a lead capacity to bring deliverables into production. These API's are mainly built for integration between front-end and back-end services. This Lead Engineer provide technical expertise and guidance to others in a lead capacity and work autonomously on numerous projects. They will also act as an internal expert resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, and provide technical insight and recommendations to the business and/or outside vendors.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Banking or Financial Services industry experience - Strong Software Design background - 10+ years' Java development - 5+ years experience with Spring framework (Spring Core with Annotation, Spring Boot Spring Rest docs), with a good understanding of Spring Security & Authorization - 7+ years' API Development experience - Understanding of key API development processes like Authentication, resilience, error handling, etc. - Prior experience in a Lead role - Experience with Mulesoft

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • GraphQL experience - Experience with Containerization technologies

Compensation
:

$135,000-$145,000

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
