Purpose
The Human Resource Generalist will perform human resource related duties by partnering with employees and management to communicate various policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. This role is also responsible for preboarding activities.

Compensation

  • The target wage range for this position is $‎77,417.60 to $‎94,733.60 annually.
  • Final offers are individually based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job-related reasons.

Purpose
The Human Resource Generalist will perform human resource related duties by partnering with employees and management to communicate various policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. This role is also responsible for preboarding activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent (3 years) experience.
  • At least 3 years of human resource experience.

Additional Preferred Requirements

  • SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Union experience preferred
  • Medical, FQHC experience preferred
